Defy Time with the Latest in Ozonated Technology and
Age-Old Medicinal Bee Products
When HoneyColony discovered the power of ozonated oils, we realized it had the potential to be one of the most powerful anti-aging skin products on the market when blended with the with the ancient medicinal properties found in beeswax and bee pollen. We experimented with several combinations until we landed on the perfect blend: No3urish.
The bee pollen and beeswax we use comes from some of the most conscientious beekeepers, so all the ingredients of this cutting-edge skin product are from the most environmentally sustainable sources.
What is Ozone?
Ozone is oxygen with three atoms versus the standard two. When applied, this additional oxygen atom helps destroy toxins, bacteria, viruses, and odors.
Bee pollen is a nutrient-dense superfood from the hive. It is loaded with “skin health” boosting substances like zinc and silica. It also contains an extremely high amount of antioxidants that fight dangerous free radicals. Free radicals are unavoidable since they come from daily factors such as stress, pollutants, chemicals in your environment and radiation from the sun.
PurO3, the “leader in ozonated oils in America,” uses one the most advanced ozonating technologies to bubble ozone into jojoba oil until it slowly begins to solidify. The bubbling process effectively captures and preserves ozone, increasing its lifespan from a mere twenty minutes to ten years. This is all done without the use of chemicals, preservatives, or stabilizers.
Ozonated oils promote rapid cell renewal and skin protection. They help eliminate bacteria and boost the immune system by producing antibodies. In our polluted world where stress, toxins and natural elements attack us daily, regular use of ozonated oils leads to the prevention of unnecessary aging.
Organic Jojoba Oil
The organic jojoba oil in which the ozone is bubbled into is an excellent agent in and of itself, as it is chemically similar to sebum, an oil naturally excreted in human skin. This makes it easier for jojoba to penetrate the skin than any other oil. Jojoba oil is replete with all of the vitamins and minerals essential for healthy skin and hair: vitamin E, B-complex, copper, zinc, selenium, iodine, and chromium. It’s even gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin without causing allergic reactions.
Beeswax has many health benefits, when applied topically. It is natural, non-toxic, and helps protect skin from environmental assaults, while also holding in moisture and reducing dryness. It doesn’t “suffocate” the skin or clog pores like many moisturizers do. Meanwhile, like honey, beeswax has antibacterial properties that helps keep skin clean. This reduces the risks of contamination and promotes faster healing of minor abrasions.
According to a 2005 study, honey/beeswax inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungus. This makes it a potential treatment for diaper rash and other bacterial skin conditions. Especially since honey/beeswax also helps keeps the body naturally hydrated. Beeswax is also a wonderful source of Vitamin A and helps with cell turnover and reconstruction.
Why We Love It
This woody shrub covers about 40,000 acres of desert in the southwestern U.S. and has countless beauty benefits. For one, jojoba is replete with all of the vitamins and minerals essential for healthy skin and hair: vitamin E, B-complex, copper, zinc, selenium, iodine, and chromium. And it’s even gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin without causing allergic reactions. Jojoba’s also a miracle worker when it comes to dealing with a shiny, uncooperative T-zone — it mimics the activity of your body’s natural oils, so your skin won’t overdo it.
Jojoba is also wonderful on unsightly scars and can speed up the healing process of wounds. Finally, it’s also beneficial against acne because of it’s anti-microbial properties. Jojoba contains iodine, which may fight harmful bacteria growth that causes pimples, blackheads, and breakouts.
